This semester, the subjects have gone up a little difficulty, there are many more jobs and give more assessments done. However, all subjects that I have during the fall semester, I enjoy studying one of them, "Estadística para la gestión I".
While I've never been a big fan of mathematics courses, this course raises a really interesting challenge especially because of the difficulty it has. The course program, aims to start learning about statistics that may be useful for defining public policies that could be developed in the future.
The course is divided into three parts, first teaching variables, types and usefulness, secondly, the projection data through statistical models that allow us to predict values through equations, and finally, teaching and incorporating odds content to teach.
Personally, I take this course has helped me to better understand how public policies are formulated in terms of statistics and know what are the tools that can predict certain results through certain variables. While it is a difficult course, it becomes very important in the formation of public administrators, is one of the prerequisites for study subjects public policy or research steps, where statistical tools are fundamental to define certain courses of action when executing actions.
