Evaluation of blog experience

Latest post of the semester! Today I write the last post of English III. During these weeks, I could practice my vocabulary writing about various topics that are interesting to me.

In general, the assessment made of the activity is positive, I think on the one hand could practice orally in the first classes of the week, and on the other hand, through the blog entries, we incorporate written practice also required to pass the course.

Perhaps one of the most complicated to carry things, was the interruption of classes that we had for about 7 weeks, which made the content had a long pause, because it had to make some blog posts cumulatively provided meet the course program.

If something can highlight tremendously, is we had the opportunity to support both the teacher and peers to solve some problems grammar or vocabulary that may be appearing on the road.

Finally, note that much of what they learned in this activity will be of much use in the final exam, so I think that beyond being an activity with which we had to meet every week, is a learning support English courses.

Stranger things: An amazing serie

Hello, today I’m going write about one amazing serie. I always ask myself: How to not become a fan of “Stranger things”?

I think that a very few series have this effect in me, as what Stranger things made me to watch it chapter by chapter till finish it in less than two days.

The serie produced by Netflix has some factors that makes it the favorite serie of a very large number of people, on the most interesting things of it is the sound track, the ages where it's located and the combination of suspense and fiction that the plot has.

On big words, the serie is about the search of a boy named Will Byers, the one that disappears on strange circumstances during one of the night he was going home. After disappearing, starts to show a lot of signals that indicates that his disappearing is not normal.

The series counts with a cast that accomplish very well with each character, in my opinion, has the right equilibrium between fiction and suspense.

It's a very good serie, I invite you to watch it

Atacama vs Santiago

Today i’m going to write about the lifestyle of “santiaguinos” and the differences with the city where I was born.

As you know I was born in Vallenar, in the third region of Chile and now a live in Santiago, because here is the career and the university where I study.

When I arrived to Santiago I realized immediately the change in the lifestyle, the lifestyle “santiaguino” I so different to lifestyle “vallenarino”.

First I saw de difference in the means of transport, Vallenar has bus and colectivos and pay both of them in cash, instead of this Santiago has bus, taxi, colectivos and subway and the most frequented are bus and subway, and the pay form is with a card that you need recharge for travel.

Other thing is the activities that has in Santiago like the theater, cinema, parks, zoo, museums, hills (Santa Lucía and San Cristóbal) among others.

Besides the clim is different here, Vallenar is very hot almost all the year, whereas Santiago is very hot in summer but in winter is too much colder than in Vallenar, for this I’m still familiarize whit winter “santiaguino”

A Subject you enjoy studying this semester: "Estadística para la gestión I"

This semester, the subjects have gone up a little difficulty, there are many more jobs and give more assessments done. However, all subjects that I have during the fall semester, I enjoy studying one of them, "Estadística para la gestión I".

While I've never been a big fan of mathematics courses, this course raises a really interesting challenge especially because of the difficulty it has. The course program, aims to start learning about statistics that may be useful for defining public policies that could be developed in the future.

The course is divided into three parts, first teaching variables, types and usefulness, secondly, the projection data through statistical models that allow us to predict values through equations, and finally, teaching and incorporating odds content to teach.

Personally, I take this course has helped me to better understand how public policies are formulated in terms of statistics and know what are the tools that can predict certain results through certain variables. While it is a difficult course, it becomes very important in the formation of public administrators, is one of the prerequisites for study subjects public policy or research steps, where statistical tools are fundamental to define certain courses of action when executing actions.

Why I choose my career

When I was a child, I dreamed that i help to the people.

I chose this career for many motivations. This career is a great opportunity for participate in the government themes and I because love the public service. Also, in the 2014, I worked in the public system before; this is the principal factor for studying Public Administration.

One of the most important reasons to come to study public administration, was that this race integrates several branches of social sciences, including sociology, psychology, social work, law, among others.
